The Face of FOX Toledo Blog

Ever been snuck up on by a blonde in a blue polo shirt, loaded up with frisbees and key chains, flanked by a picture-taking posse?  Well, give it some time, and maybe, just maybe, it could happen to you.  Wherever there is fun, wherever giveaways are needed, wherever crowds abound, I might be there!  My new assignment is "party crasher" and I'm showing up at exciting events all over town.  My objective:  to have my photo taken with YOU!  Then you can go online & check out the sweet pic and brag to all your friends.  (At least that's how I imagine it will go in my head.)

Today I "crashed" OregonFest in, well, Oregon.  (Ohio, not the state of....)  I brought two good friends along to take pictures of me with the Oregonians?  Oregonites?  ....people from Oregon.  I also gave away a ton of key chains and frisbees, but sadly, not one autograph.  I got awesome photos taken with "Marco" from Marco's Pizza, (the weirdest looking mascot I've ever seen), Viet Nam Veterans, Muddy & Muddonna, and lots of little tykes.  Fortunately the rain held off the entire time so we were able to stay for the record setting 55 minute parade.  Wow!

Last weekend I unexpectedly showed up at Toledo Botanical Garden for the Spring Plant Sale.  I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful afternoon to spend in a garden amongst hundreds of varieties of vibrant flowers.  Next Sunday I'll be hanging out with fellow Mud Hens fans at Fifth Third Field.  I just hope no fowl balls come my way, as I'll be quite busy giving out more FOX freebies and inciting those around me to pose for pix!  May the crashing continue......
