Hey, all of you in T-Town, it's Julia, the new Face of FOX Toledo!

I can't express how happy I am to represent Toledo.  August was an amazing month, with lots of preparing and auditioning.  I was thrilled to find out that I had won the competition, and have been on cloud nine ever since!  Thanks to all of you out there who expressed your support and encouraged me throughout the entire process.  I promise to make you all proud!

Even though I'm only a few weeks into my new role, the staff at FOX has been keeping me extremely busy.  I'm having so much fun performing my weekly shoots, and I even have a couple events under my belt already.  The ADA golf outing on September 12th at Stone Ridge Golf Course was a great time, and I even made some new friends.  I was most impressed by a young man named Hunter Hayes, who is a diabetic himself.  I was lucky enough to have his company for most of the day, riding around in a golf cart taking pictures and handing out FOX freebies.  He gave a most amazing speech, and impressed everyone there with his articulation.  Great job, Hunter!

Another good time was had last Saturday, the 15th, at the Anthony Wayne Youth Festival.  Although it was pretty chilly, many die-hard supporters of the school came out to buy raffle tickets, bid on sports memorabilia, and of course, drink beer.  Hey, it was for the kids!

I'd really like to thank your former Face, Abby, for all her help in adjusting to my new role.  She has been so nice and very professional.  FOX likes for us to have a smooth transition, and I really appreciate her willingness to guide and encourage.  We've been doing our shoots and events together, so it's going to be really weird when she's not around anymore!  Thanks so much, Abby!
